Life’s Journey
What would make life easier for all of us? It would be so helpful to have someone to point us in the right direction, provide information we need, be a supportive friend and maybe even provide a road map to help us navigate life.

The Down’s Syndrome Association exists to walk with people through the whole of their life’s journey: – from pregnancy and birth to old age. The people who we walk with come from a wide range of perspectives: – people who have Down’s syndrome themselves, parents and carers, wider family and friends, people working in health and education and a host of other professionals and the general public.
We never turn anyone away. We are here for you, whatever your interest in Down’s syndrome might be.

Many people who have contacted the Down’s Syndrome Association have said something similar to the parent below-
“I rang the DSA that first time, I didn’t know why or what I was hoping for. I think I may have wanted them to say, here’s the route, the map is in the post. The truth is though that every journey is totally different and there is no definitive way to go. I didn’t know what question to ask.”
We will be delighted to hear from you, whether you know what question to ask or not and we will be delighted to walk along life’s journey with you.
