For my second holiday in June, I travelled to Northampton to attend the Salvation Army Enabled Summer Extravaganza week.
The theme of the week was ‘new beginnings’. It was lovely meeting up with old friends and meeting new ones. We had lots of activities to join in with – there was a choir, musical theatre workshops and lots of craft sessions.
At the end of the week, we put everything together by putting on a performance to friends and visitors. The show had singing, drama and dancing. At the end we received loud applause from the audience.
It was a wonderful week, and I am looking forward to next year’s event.
